And yet, we are more than just decorative art gallery—our purpose is to create a unique work of art, ornament, and architecture in paintings, watercolor paintings, sculptures, handmade tiles, pastels, stained glass, gouaches, claybords / clayboards, scratch boards, luminaries, paper art, framing, and unique works of art.Judi Miller-Morris, artistJudi Morris grew up in the Midwest, studied Art at Michigan State University and Kendall College of Art & Design, then decided to continue the education a 'different way' by hiking, camping and photographing her way around the country for two years, eventually ending up in Wyoming. "I was able to establish an extensive photo-reference library and studied some fabulous watercolorists, so I now draw from a much deeper well of technique and method."
Judi's work is figurative, but not photo realistic, and reflects her surroundings...intimate landscapes and interiors in watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, oil and photography. "New mediums, like new subjects, add more possibilities, and more surprises... It's the experimenting that makes painting challenging and fulfilling." When not "on the road," Judi paints in her studio in Saratoga. Her watercolors have won numerous awards in juried exhibitions.
